Good Afternoon,

When adding a direct quote from a page on a website, how is this treated?

Would it still only contain the author date and general site reference?

Example: Website (2022) states that "Direct quote from a page" (Website, 2022).

Website (2022) The Website [Accessed...]

Good morning

It is always best to use one's own words in assessments. You can refer to the S2-Referencing Tutorial letter for the part on Citations (p. 2), as it states that students should avoid using direct quotes, but rather paraphrase the content of the sources used.
