Referencing a website

Referencing a website

Good Morning,

Trust you are well!

I was wondering if you could help advise on how to exactly reference a website.

If info from different pages of a website is used as separate reference points - must each page link be added as a separate reference item in the reference list?

Or does stating the website (n.d) with one main reference do the trick for all pages since it is one website?

To add, would the date be considered the copyright date present on the website?

Your help is greatly appreciated!

Jacqueline

Hi Jacqueline
To the 1st question, the answer is no.
To the 2nd question, the answer is yes.
To the 3rd question, the answer is yes.
Please refer to pages 13 -14 of the IMM Graduate School Harvard Referencing System Guide for website examples.
Best wishes.

If in the reference list, the range of pages. If paraphrased, in text citation does not require page number. If quoted, then student needs to cite the quote and page number.
